Continuous improvement is when you take it upon yourself to make small differences and improvements everyday, while hoping it all adds up to something more significant. The best way to improve is to set big goals for yourself and try to see how fast you can complete them. When you set a deadline for yourself you learn a lot about how you should manage your time wisely as well as you learn many other good habits that help you improve. Your own decisions to do something better can set you better off compared to someone who makes a bad decision. This decision does not have to be a big one either, it could even be something that you might believe doesn't have an impact on your daily life. They ma not make a difference now but they can affect you in the long run. Never believe that you have reached a point in which no improvement can be made. There is always room for improvement regardless of how little there may be. A great way to keep on having continuous improvement is to have discipline. You should always look back at everything that you do and make better adjustments. You know yourself better than anyone else and only you are your best critic. A lot of people are already focused on helping others and forget to help themselves. They keep looking for someone to help them but they do not realize that sometimes they are the only people who can help themselves.
WEveryone has habits but not everyone focuses on goals. Habits are somethings that we cannot help but do, meanwhile Goals are something a lot of people fail to realize or set for themselves. Something a lot of people fail to realize is that goals are just meant to set the general direction you should be heading towards. Your habits influence your ability of accomplishing your goal. Having bad habits, such as procrastination, can limit your abilities and stop you from accomplishing your goal. The reason why most people fail to realize their goals is because they have no motivation to achieve them. In order to be motivated you need to change your habits and your outlook on certain things. This is why goals and habits are tied and you cannot improve on each other without fixing the other. You need good habits to accomplish goals and you need to set goals to improve your habits. Goals are good for planning progress, and habits are great for achieving them. You should learn to enjoy your journey towards accomplishing the goal. Achieving a goal can change your life forever. It can change your life by making you happy about accomplishing it or it could make you happy because you developed new habits. This is why we need to love the idea of forming and improving our habits so that we can accomplish more goals in life. I have learned that we should not put aside out happiness to achieve our goals but use our happiness to get through the obstacles and challenges we face as we make progress. Happiness is key because it gives us a reason not to quit. In conclusion, setting goals are good for planning your progress, whereas habits are good for actually making the progress.
Maintaining a positive image online as a digital citizen is very important and can benefit you in several ways throughout your career. A Digital Citizen is someone who uses information technology to engage in society, politics, and government. A good digital citizen thinks about his/her actions before posting things online. A good digital citizen also realizes the rights and responsibility that come with interacting online. Digital citizenship is important because it includes you being able to participate in online discussions, buying and selling goods online, communicating with people, and learning new information. As a digital citizen you should constantly follow the law, know your rights and responsibilities, your digital wellness and security. Digital citizenship is all about having confident and positive engagements with digital technologies. As a digital citizen you have the right to privacy and the freedom of expression. If you abuse the right to the freedom of expression, under your name, future employers can find out information about you by doing a quick search on google about you. This could result in you getting fired or not getting employed at all. Companies choose to do an online background search when employing you because when you work with them, you represent their company and they do not want to have a person with a negative image representing the company. This could potentially ruin the image of their company. This could also be a tough lesson for younger people who post immature things online which could be brought up later on in their lives as adults looking for a job. If you do not maintain security with your online accounts ( For Example- keeping the same password for multiple accounts or not changing your password regularly) you could lose access to valuable information such as your bank account, etc. This is why you should be concerned about your security and privacy online. Although having a negative online image can result in you not getting employed, having a positive online image can benefit you in several ways. Having a positive online image can increase the chances of you getting employed because some companies constantly look for people who have a positive influence online and can promote their company in several ways. Hence, it is important to be a digital citizen who constantly interacts with people online and maintains good relations with people in order to succeed in areas outside the internet.
